Skate to Your Heart's Content in Albany

Ice skating at the Empire State Plaza in Albany is still going strong thanks to all the cold temperatures we've been experiencing this winter. The rink is open Tuesdays - Sundays, weather permitting, and it's a great spot to take the family.

Admission is free, you just have to bring your own skates or rent them for a small fee (free on Saturdays!).
 
Attend Winterfest in Lake George

Lake George Winterfest is underway, and the event is well worth a day trip. A regular Wristband includes horse-drawn carriage rides, hot cocoa, restaurant discounts, and more. Or, you can buy a Wristband with a special winter activity included too.
