Attend a Thrilling Holiday Parade
Did you know? The annual Daily Gazette Holiday Parade in Schenectady is the largest nighttime parade in the Northeast! It's happening this year on November 18th and promises to be bigger and brighter than ever.
A holiday-themed 5K is taking place right in Halfmoon on December 2nd: the Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis. Wear a holiday costume, tie jingle bells to your shoelaces, and run for this great cause!
Why not start local this year with your holiday shopping? You may not even realize the abundance of high quality holiday gifts you
can buy right in the Clifton Park area. Browse the Top Holiday Gifts and see what you can find!
You have two amazing Festivals of Trees to check out in the area: The Saratoga Festival of Trees, going on from November 29th to December 3rd and the Schenectady Festival of Trees, running from December 3rd to the 23rd. Both events will have beautifully decorated trees and more.
As with the Festival of Trees, you have more than one way to enjoy Victorian and holiday-themed festivities: The Saratoga Victorian Streetwalk on November 30th and the Troy Victorian Stroll on December 3rd. Attend one or both for music, decorations, and more holiday fun.
