From Raquette Lake's Fireworks from the Barge to Lake Placid's July 4th Parade and Celebration, fantastic fireworks displays will be going on throughout the area!

I Love BBQ & Music Festival

Did you know Lake Placid's I Love BBQ & Music Festival was ranked the country's 8th best BBQ festival by USA Today readers? From July 2-4, highlights include pulled pork tastings, ribs, plus BBQ vendors all three days!

IRONMAN Lake Placid

Aside from the World Championship, IRONMAN Lake Placid is the longest-running American IRONMAN triathlon. On July 24, the event will be an amazing spectacle as athletes from all over race in the grueling competition.

Clinton County Fair

The Clinton County Fair returns to the North Country for its 68th year! From July 19-24, people of all ages are welcome to enjoy the rides, games, and more. Multi-award winning musician Ricky Skaggs will perform on July 21!

ididaride 2016

Now in its 11th year, the ididaride bike tour features a 75-mile loop and a 20-mile ride on July 31. Both provide breathtaking views of the ADKs, and later on, there will be food, drinks, music, and prizes at the post-ride barbecue.

Kid-Friendly Hikes

Now that summer vacation has officially begun, it's time to find ways to make sure the kids stay active. Throughout the Adirondacks, there are beginner level nature trails and kid-friendly hikes that are great for the whole family. They may even motivate your kid/s to spend their summer outdoors.
