Leaf peepers rejoice! Now that fall has officially begun, it won't be too long before the bright colors of the season spread throughout the Saratoga Springs area and cover the trees. Want to find out the best spots to see the foliage in time for Columbus Day weekend or your next trip? Here are some of the region's top leaf peeping hotspots.

Get Your Apples

Apple picking season is well underway, so if you're interested in a particular variety, then start planning your trip to an orchard in and around Saratoga County. Not only will you find plenty of delicious apples, but many places also offer apple cider, doughnuts, treats, and more.
Pick Out Some Pumpkins
Although Halloween is about a month away, it's not too early to go pumpkin picking. Whether you want to bake a pumpkin pie, decorate your home, or start crafting a jack-o'-lantern, simply head to the nearest pumpkin patch and check them all out.
