It's Tulip Time in Albany! Are You Ready for It?

After much anticipation, Albany Tulip Festival will return to Washington Park on May 7-8 and feature a full weekend of events and activities. Tulip Festival is the best way to spend Mother's Day weekend, as you can enjoy live music, delicious food, and thousands of colorful tulips. Plan your visit, and see what else is going on below.
Find Out What to Expect at Tulip Festival

Tulip Festival is Albany's signature spring event, and you can look forward to the return of many annual traditions, such as the Street Scrubbing on May 6, the Tulip Queen Coronation on May 7, and more. Plus, there will be three stages of live music and entertainment for all ages.

Although Tulip Festival is the highlight of Mother's Day weekend in Albany, don't forget to treat your mom to a delicious meal! In celebration of the holiday, local restaurants are offering dine-in or takeout specials, including brunch menus and multi-course dinners.
 
The St. Sophia Greek Festival Is Back

For the first time since 2019, the Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Church in Albany will host its traditional in-person Greek Festival (now in its 50th year!).

Join them on May 13-15 for live Greek music and dancing, a marketplace with over 20 vendors, and all your favorite Greek food and pastries. This event is fun for the whole family.
