Fall has arrived in Saratoga Springs, and the season is packed with things to do. Giant pumpkins take center stage at PumpkinFest, comedians take over the City Center, and runners lace up for the Great Pumpkin Challenge through Saratoga Spa State Park. Between festivals, foliage, and cozy lodging options, there's plenty to plan around this month.

Two Days, 30+ Shows: Inside the Saratoga Comedy Festival Lineup

The Saratoga Comedy Festival brings over 30 shows and 60 comedians to the Saratoga City Center September 11th and 12th, with headliners Kyle Kinane, Robert Kelly, Chris O'Connor, Ian Fidance, Jaye McBride, Kerryn Feehan, Dustin Ybarra, and Jeff Wright joined by local favorites like Dan Geurin and Jenn McMullen. Shows start Friday at 6pm and Saturday at 5pm, with food and drinks available for purchase throughout the weekend.

Giant Pumpkins Return for Saratoga's Weigh-Off Weekend

The Saratoga Giant PumpkinFest rolls into downtown Saratoga on Saturday, September 26th, from 11am to 3pm, as growers from across New York and the Northeast bring in entries for the 11th annual weigh-off. Some pumpkins top 1,000 pounds, with a few nearing 2,000, competing for prizes across multiple categories. Admission is free, Mandolins Too performs live music at the event, and the Saratoga Farmers Market operates next door.
