Lace up your running shoes and join Adirondack Health in Lake Placid for their 9th Annual Turkey Trot 5K on Thanksgiving morning. This race will bring runners around beautiful Mirror Lake, and funds will benefit local food pantries and Adirondack Health's fitness program.
After you've filled up on turkey and stuffing, take the family to Old Forge & Inlet on November 24-26 for the 2017 Adirondack Christmas on Main Street. This unforgettable holiday celebration will feature a light parade, caroling, photos with Santa, Christmas activities, and more.

Christmas is coming early to the North Country! From November 24 - December 3, Ticonderoga will host the 8th Annual North Country Christmas. Some of the highlights of this week-long celebration will include holiday store specials, activities for kids, a rockin' tree lighting, and more.
Once again, the popular Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will be bringing festive cheer to the Adirondack Park. On November 27, the train will stop at 5 locations in and around the Adirondacks and provide holiday entertainment to local communities. Donations will be accepted.
