Lake George Is Ready For October Sights, Frights & Fun
Fall is always an exciting time of year in Lake George, and this season is no exception. From ways to enjoy the foliage you might not have thought of, to can't-miss events going on from now to mid month, get all the latest happenings below.
Get Your Fright On
Fright Fest happens every weekend throughout October, with Monster Mash dances and more fun for kids during the day, and horror-filled activities and attractions for adults come 5pm: haunted houses, scare zones, and rides in the dark.
Drink Pink is back at Adirondack Winery with a slew of ways to show your support this month: attend a cocktail making or other fun class, check out a comedy show, drink Berry Breeze wine, and more. They're aiming to raise $20,000 for Making Strides of the Adirondacks.
Peak fall foliage dates for Lake George this year are estimated to be between October 4 to 12. Saratoga just south of us is predicted to peak October 13 to 21, and just north starting around North Creek from September 27 to October 3. Fall Fest at West
West Mountain's Fall Festivals take place October 7 & 8, and 14 & 15, so there's no excuse not to come out for chairlift rides, beer tastings, and more.
Thurman Fall Tour Take a fall foliage drive to nearby Thurman and engage in self-guided tours of participating farms on October 7, for the Thurman Fall Farm Tour.
