Stay Active & Find Fun Events This Summer

With summer in full swing, we're focusing on upcoming events in the Adirondacks, and highlighting a couple of classic summertime activities: biking and hiking. Check out a Biking Guide, a variety of hiking challenges, and more below.
Be By The Water For The Ultimate Summer Stay

Check out a list of waterfront lodging options that range from vacation rentals and cabins, to inns and hotels. If you're planning on swimming, kayaking, fishing, or otherwise getting out on the water this year, why not stay near one of the many lakes or rivers in the ADK?
Bring On The Bikes & Biking Trails

Find biking hot spots all through the park with the Adirondack Biking Guide. We recommend Garnet Hill Lodge, with their extensive trail system and on-site bike rentals, or McCauley Mountain in Old Forge, with 20 different trails for all skill levels.

Sign Yourself Up For A Hiking Challenge

Are you on a mission to scale all 46 High Peaks? There's a challenge for that! There are also family-friendly challenges, ones with waterfalls or historic fire towers, and more. Browse Adirondack hiking challenges, read the rules, keep track of your hikes, and then submit your info for bragging rights and a badge. (Photo credit: John Haywood.)
