Beware Of The Mud!

The mountains start calling as the weather gets warmer, but don't let them fool you! It's currently mud season in the Adirondacks, and that means its a less-than-ideal time to hit the trails.

Hiking during mud season can put you at risk of getting stuck, and it can also pose a threat to delicate vegetation. Your best bet is to wait until the middle of May when the trails have thoroughly dried!
